Alexis Boldt

Hi, my name is Alexis.

I’m a self-taught web designer from Seattle, Washington. Originally a Fashion Merchandising major, I picked up programming while working on my final project. After graduating with an A.S. in Fashion Merchandising, I realized that I could communicate my ideas more effortlessly through code than I ever could within fashion. Through my fashion education, I have become well versed with digital design software and graphic design concepts. And through my career in Visual Merchandisng, I've had the ability to research KPIs, in order to gain information about how customers shop and what I can do to react and anticipate their next move. By bridging similarities between fashion, web design, and their respective methods of research, I have found I have a strong interest in UX/UI and thus have decided to further my formal education on the subject. With a focus on accessible design concepts, I find joy within problem solving and strive for improvement every day.

Outside of my career driven activities, you can find me brushing up on Japanese Language, on a long distance run, or filming homebody activities for my YouTube channel, gentlespace.
